Daniella is a senior biomedical student at TERRA Environmental Research Institute. She enjoys interning at the Adaptive Neural Systems Lab because of its interplay with the brain and technology. In school, Daniella enjoys participating in various clubs and projects such as the National Honor Society, Phi Beta Chi, Key Club, Biomedical Club, and the Health Information Project (BeHIP). She competes in CPR/ First Aid at the state level with her school’s H.O.S.A chapter. After-school activities for Daniella include volunteering at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, and the Miami Dade Fire Rescue where she is a first responder. Daniella is grateful for her experience at the ANS Lab, for it has inspired her to study biomedical engineering in the future.
